Aeneid; An Inspiration

The story of Aeneas was very inspiring. See, how grateful he faces the challenges and hindrances of his life. This only shows that God is not bad for giving us such challenges. The truth is He is very good for giving us those problems that will make us stronger and better person. Like Aeneas for instance, he believe that searching for Rome will conquer his hardship and even his fellow countrymen. By that, he became successful and was able to save himself and others. That shows the power of God. Even almost half of troy was dead they were able to succeed. This also shows positive outlook in life. Imagine, what if Aeneas didn’t do anything for troy and just let those things happened, do you think he will succeed? No. Because trust in oneself is very important with faith in God and bravery.

As one of the reader of Aeneas story about fall of troy, I do believe that I should feel sympathy. All those things that happened during that time almost disrespect the people. Actually, Aeneas emphasized all his hardship during his travel. Every single day, he is suffering from those hindrances but good thing is he was able to face all those.
By that if I where Aeneas I will do the same thing. I’ll leave Greece and look for Rome. With that I can escaped and avoid having a sorrowful life under Homer. I’ll try to do everything to make a change and I would not let my fellow countrymen to suffer with grief.

A Tour in the Past

While walking down the street, King Leonidus saw a beautiful girl who was having a conference with a group of Spartan warriors. King Leonidus was amazed by the beauty of the girl. Since, he is the King of Sparta he joined the conference just to know the girl. After the conference, King Leonidus followed the girl and said, “A pleasant day to you, I am King Leonidus and you are?” The girl said, “I am Lois of Egypt”. Then, The King asked for a dinner date giving the exact place, date and time, but the girl walk out.
The next day, the King prepared for the dinner date and wait for the girl. The girl was almost 15 minutes late so king Leonidus decided to go home, but the girl called him. While having dinner date, he started to share things about him. He narrates his plans about the upcoming battle between Spartans and Persians. The girl was shocked and gave advices to the King. After that, King Leonidus accompany Lois on her way home.
After several days Lois heard the news about the battle and how the Persians defeated the Spartans.

What Else Can We Do?

On our way home, my sister notice land filled with garbage near Kawit, Cavite.
Aeriel: Lois, look at there, can you see that (pointing to the left) land filled of garbage?
Lois: Where?
Aeriel: There! In front of us.
Lois: Ow, that’s what you call bundok ng basura. XD
What do you think will be the effect of that to the low lands near Manila?
Aeriel: (Pouted) The garbage will soon fall down and cover the land area.
Lois:  It will have a massive impact in the houses in the land area and the government will consume lots of money for building new houses for the relocation.
Aeriel: Ow! Yes indeed! They must think of an idea on how they will solve this problem.
